Good bye Critical Literacy!

You have almost completed this semester, so how do you view Critical Literacy now? If you have any comments and suggestions, please do as it helps for the betterment of the course as a whole.

Now, it is stated in the college academic calendar that we are in week 12. This means final exam is just around the corner. Meanwhile these few weeks are hectic weeks for all the students. There are so many assignments and assessments which need to be fulfilled by us. However, Madam Zariati, my beloved lecturer used to tell my classmates and me that all these are the beauty of study. So, I decided to believe in her and enjoy my life as a student. Talking about Critical Literacy subject, now my journey for this subject is going to end. This is because this subject has no final exam.

After learning this subject for one semester, I think this subject is a very interesting and beneficial subject to learn. It teaches me to think critically while trying to interpret and understand other’s point of view. Besides, I also learn that we need strong evidence when we want to tell our opinion to the others. Without it our opinion will just remain as opinion and cannot be reliable. Furthermore, this subject also has boosted my confidence to be a good presenter. This is because, every week we are required to present our finding on the rule of ten based of the given article. Actually, this task is a practice for us before we do our VIVA presentation. Oh! I’m so nervous every time I think of my VIVA presentation. I hope everyone can pray for me.

Talking about the way to improve this subject, I think the coordinator and the other lecturers have done very well. So, there is no major changes that need to be done. I have only one suggestion for the improvement of this subject. In my opinion, the lecturers should allocate specific and fix time in the time table for each students to come for consultation session. Then, make it compulsory for all students to follow the time table. This is to help those students who are clueless yet don’t want to meet and ask the lecturers for help. The most suitable time for this compulsory consultation session may be two weeks before the submission date. Hopefully this suggestion can help the students to score a higher mark.

As a conclusion, I really enjoy my journey to the end of this subject. Learning this subject has give me a new experience. I hope I can score high mark for this subject. I have done my very best for this subject and now I left the rest to God. Once again, I really hope everyone can pray for my success. Thank you for all your kindness! I will pray for everyone’s happiness. Goodbye…
